01. Top Layer

Sporty mesh layer is fast drying, absorbs liquid – and locks it away. Even better helps to control odour and is backed with a breathable, waterproof layer.

02. Bottom Layer

The bottom layer is the outer fabric of your swimwear – recycled nylon - which is chlorine resistant, water repellent, and dries much faster than your regular swimwear.

Care Guide

BEFORE YOUR WEAR

Wash your Modibodi before wearing them for the first time! This will prime the fabric’s Modifier Technology™ in the gusset. This initial wash ensures that the fabric’s pores are open and ready to absorb moisture effectively.

GETTING RINSING

Rinse in cold water after use <30°. Do not soak, just rinse until the water runs clear. You can do this in the shower – we love this as it saves water and is super convenient.

COLD WASH ONLY

Cold wash (now or later – though it’s best not to leave your Modibodi’s wet for too long). Washing them in a delicates bag is even better.

HANG IT DRY

Ensure the product is entirely dry before wearing – this will ensure your underwear are fresh and ready to go. Hot Tip: Hold the fabric softener and avoid the dryer - this reduces the product’s function and can cause damage to the inner fabrics.

How does Modibodi period swimwear work?

Modibodi swimwear features a discreet two-layer lining. The inner layer is designed to absorb menstrual fluid (with super absorbency holding up to 50ml, equivalent to 10 tampons), while the outer layer is water-resistant, preventing external water from entering and ensuring leak-proof protection both in and out of the water.

Can I swim on my period without using a tampon or pad?

Yes, Modibodi period swimwear is designed to be worn alone on light to super flow days, eliminating the need for additional products like tampons or pads.

How much menstrual fluid can Modibodi swimwear absorb?

Depending on the style and absorbency level, Modibodi swimwear can hold between 10ml to 50ml of fluid, which is approximately 1–10 tampons' worth.
