Care Guide

BEFORE YOUR WEAR

Wash your Modibodi before wearing them for the first time! This will prime the fabric’s Modifier Technology™ in the gusset. This initial wash ensures that the fabric’s pores are open and ready to absorb moisture effectively.

GETTING RINSING

Rinse in cold water after use <30°. Do not soak, just rinse until the water runs clear. You can do this in the shower – we love this as it saves water and is super convenient.

COLD WASH ONLY

Cold wash (now or later – though it’s best not to leave your Modibodi’s wet for too long). Washing them in a delicates bag is even better.

HANG IT DRY

Ensure the product is entirely dry before wearing – this will ensure your underwear are fresh and ready to go. Hot Tip: Hold the fabric softener and avoid the dryer - this reduces the product’s function and can cause damage to the inner fabrics.

How do I use and care for Modibodi?

Modibodi underwear is machine washable. Just rinse in cold water after use, then wash on a cold, gentle cycle and hang to dry. Avoid fabric softeners and tumble dryers to preserve the gusset’s performance. Follow our full care instructions here to get the best performance from your underwear.

Do Modibodi garments smell when worn?

No, Modibodi underwear is designed to keep you feeling fresh and dry. The top layer wicks moisture away from your skin, while the Merino wool layer naturally locks in odour and only releases it when washed. How long will my Modibodi garments last?

With proper care, your Modibodi underwear is built to last. Because they're made with delicate natural fibres, we recommend following our care guide closely to help extend their life.

How often should I change my Modibodi’s?

Modibodi is designed for safe wear for up to 24 hours, depending on your flow. If the gusset feels wet on top, it’s time to change. Try them at home first to understand how they perform for you. Use our absorbency guide to understand what’s right for your flow and how long you can wear them.

Does Modibodi have PFAS or nanotechnology?

No, our products are PFAS-free and certified to Oeko-Tex Standard 100 . We also conduct fluorine testing to ensure safety in every batch.
