Super absorbency is our highest level of patented leak-proof protection, made for the heaviest part of your cycle and the nights you would rather not have to think about. The styles still look like the undies already in your drawer.
Fifty millilitres. That is what a Super pair holds, or around ten tampons if that measure means more to you. A lot of capacity for something that disappears under a pair of jeans.
Credit goes to a 3 mm liner that stretches the full length of the gusset and reaches both waistbands. The patented technology inside moves liquid off your skin, holds it there and works on odour while it does. From the outside, nothing gives it away.
Flood days, overnight, postpartum weeks, surprise arrivals: this is the level built for all of them. Compare it with the rest of our period underwear range, or put the levels side by side in the absorbency guide to work out what your rotation should look like.
Nothing clinical here. Our Super Absorbent Underwear arrives in the shapes you already own, including classic full briefs, bikinis, boyshorts, seamfree cuts and sleep shorts, across a spread of rises and colours.
There is a reason the fit sits close. The liner has to stay put to work, including through eight hours of rolling over in bed. A close fit also pulls liquid away from your skin rather than leaving it sitting there, so you stay dry for longer.
Swimming is a different problem entirely, and our period swimwear solves it with a build made for the water.
Modibodi’s super absorbency underwear is independently 3rd party lab tested to absorb up to 50 ml of blood and liquid, which is equal to ten standard tampons’ worth. How long you can wear them depends on your flow. So, check and change your pair as needed.
Yes. Super styles are designed for heavier flows and overnight wear. In fact, they have an absorbent liner that runs from the front to the back waistband so you can wake up feeling confident, even on white sheets.
Wash them like any of our other period underwear. Rinse them in cold water after each wear, and then wash them on a cold, gentle cycle, avoiding fabric softener, soaking and bleach. Then, hang to dry, skipping the ironing and tumble dryer.
